It is one that I had heard before, but it really sums up volunteers perfectly. There are very few people these days that have the extra time to help out with everything they would like to. Juggling family commitments, work life and the general running of a household is often overwhelming....which is why we are so thankful for all that our volunteers continue to do at Macdonald Drive Elementary. I can't imagine how different our year would be and the experiences the children would miss if it wasn't for you - our volunteers!
Invitations have come home in magic bags, however with the recent storms and sicknesses it is quite possible some may not have made it home to you. We are hoping that as many of you as possible will be able to join us. In case you missed the invitation, here are the details.
